Street food in Vietnam is inseparable from a sense of community; in more ways than one
It’s not unusual to find vendors supporting disadvantaged children and young people who would otherwise be without shelter and employment. In this spirit and with thanks to the street vendors of Vietnam for their kindness and inspiration, we’re happy to support the KOTO foundation.
KOTO stands for “know one, teach one”; founded upon the principle of empowerment through sharing knowledge. KOTO endows underprivileged young people in Vietnam with the skills they need to make a living in food and hospitality – encouraging them to pass on their training in turn, creating a positive cycle of skill sharing.
